Donald Trump Threatens to Reveal Unflattering Information About DeSantis if He Runs.
Donald Trump Threatens-
Former President Donald J. Trump cautioned Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, against launching a challenge to Mr. Trump’s planned presidential run in the 2024 election cycle hours before polls opened on Tuesday for Election Day in Florida.
After a rally on Monday night in Dayton, Ohio, Mr. Trump told a few reporters accompanying him on his recently restored and put back in service private plane, “If he runs, he runs.”
Mr. Trump has elevated slash-and-burn politics from its previous lows, having for years threatened business partners and competitors, journalists, and detractors alike with lawsuits or the prospect of public humiliation.
In the 2016 presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and him, he brought women who had accused former President Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct, and during the Republican primary that year, he tweeted a vague threat about Senator Ted Cruz’s wife. He also urged his supporters to spread rumors about President Biden’s son Hunter.
However, according to aides, Mr. Trump is now more easily enraged and frequently displays signs of near-rage over his current position as president.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat whose husband was recently struck with a hammer by an intruder searching for Ms. Pelosi, was characterized to as a “beast” by Mr. Trump on Monday night in Dayton because she spearheaded the movement to impeach him twice as president.
