Very few midsize pickup trucks come close to matching the Sierra AT4X, making it the Denali of off-road trucks, in terms of performance as well as luxury.

Most current full-size pickup trucks are equipped with plenty of off-road features, like skid plates, two-speed transmissions, and all-terrain tires, but the Sierra AT4X includes several features that set it head and shoulders above all other half-ton trucks.

As an X-tra version of the Sierra AT4, the Denali Ultimate has some trim-specific mechanical bits that enhance its off-road capabilities.

When GMC pulled the covers off of the new-for-2022 Sierra 1500 AT4X, it was touted as the most capable GMC model yet on the off-road.
