What Is The Tesla Semi Truck's Top Speed?

Elon Musk asserts that Tesla's semi-truck EV project could go from 0 to 62 mph in five seconds

without a trailer because it has four separate electric Model 3 engines.

Elon Musk asserts that an electric Tesla semi truck can achieve 60 mph in 5 seconds

while carrying no cargo and will do it in 20 seconds

while carrying a full load (about 36 tons, according to different U.S. highway codes).

Elon Musk, the CEO, stated that a Tesla Semi will be able to achieve motorway speeds in around 20 seconds

when fully loaded, which is significantly faster  than the average diesel-powered truck

but nowhere near as fast as a regular Tesla, like the Model 3.

Tesla said back in 2017 when it unveiled the truck

that his next large-scale vehicle could hit 60 mph without the trailer  attached in five flashing seconds.
