Can Tesla  Make an Electric Vehicle in 10 Hours? Volkswagen CEO Said What ?

Tesla is used to creating electric vehicles quickly, but it appears that

Volkswagen is struggling to keep up with the EV manufacturer.

Herbert Diess, the chief executive officer of Volkswagen AG, addressed-

a group of employees in Germany earlier this week in an effort to spur change.

Diess reportedly addressed a group of workers at a German company this week,

Tesla is currently making good progress at its adjacent Gruenheide factory south of Berlin

and is on track to meet its objective of producing an electric vehicle in less than 10 hours.

The main Volkswagen facility in Zwickau currently needs 30 hours per vehicle.

By the next year, Diess wants to cut that to 20 hours per vehicle.

The epidemic and lack of semiconductor chips have had a significant impact on the Volkswagen Wolfsburg manufacturing.

As a result, the manufacturer might only produce 400,000 cars in a given year.

Diess said he wants to provide the firm a second electric car far sooner than the originally anticipated 2026.

In order to compete with Tesla, the Trinity project is expected to begin production in that year.
