Can You Charge Tesla Semi Truck On 120V Or Above ?

During the recent Tesla Semi customer shipping event, Tesla announced the car would be charging to a megawatt-hour.

The Tesla Semi gets 1.7kWh of electrical usage per mile while moving full loads, which could improve to 1.5kWh/mile.

Tesla says the energy use for their semi-electric trucks is less than 2kWh per mile

which is equivalent to about eight Model 3s using an average amount of electricity.

Even more impressive is Teslas Megacharger, which promises to give a Semi as much as 400 miles of charging in as little as 30 minutes.

Tesla wanted a new charging station that would provide up to 400 miles of range in

just 30 minutes, and Tesla wanted a guaranteed lower electric charge rate at that station.
