Does 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid Have AWD?
Numerous customers have requested four-wheel drive for the Ford Maverick Hybrid
and it's probable that the new three-clutch AWD system is on the way.
The 2023 Ford Maverick, a more compact pickup based on the Ford Escape
went on sale in 2022 and had a front-wheel-drive hybrid option
an EPA-rated 37 combined mpg, and an estimated $21,500 beginning price.
Ford has not yet verified that the standard 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid can achieve up to 40 mpg.
The scenario is an intriguing point to make because even the AWD EcoBoost motor is a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4
whereas the entry-level hybrid has a 2.5-liter I-4. The plug-in Escape hybrid can also travel 37 miles on electric power
and has a combined output of 210 horsepower (slightly lower than Fords quoted 221 horsepower in its 2022 version).
