Does New Tesla Model 3 have a higher power output than Model S?
Try driving a Tesla if you think electric vehicles have anything in common with golf carts.
It doesn't matter if you choose a Model 3 or Model S, both cars are quick.
You've definitely read about the Model S's optional Ludicrous mode,
which provides supercar-like acceleration. According to Tesla, the sprint from
0-60 mph takes just 2.4 seconds when you press the gas pedal.
That's insanely quick and comparable to the acceleration offered by the high-end Bugatti Chiron..
However, a Model 3 in Performance trim is nothing to sneeze at.
Ironically, the Model 3 achieves the same 0-60 time in 3.2 seconds and
has a marginally greater peak speed (162 mph, versus 155 mph in the Model S).
