FTX collapse: Suing NBA team, celebrities, and others over FTX promotion

There are numerous plaintiffs as a result of the FTX collapse.

 Tom Brady, Stephen Curry, Naomi Osaka, Gisele Bundchen, and many more, are currently under investigation.

These are involved in the promotion of the defunct cryptocurrency exchange.

The NBA franchise Golden State Warriors is one such well-known figure that is being sued.

An FTX customer filed a lawsuit against the club on Monday.

He claimed that the reigning NBA champions had falsely promoted the cryptocurrency exchange.

It should be noted that the Warriors designated FTX as their official cryptocurrency platform last year.

 A first-of-its-kind cryptocurrency partnership in professional sports was widely publicised as the same.

Customers with FTX yield-bearing accounts were seeking damages in the aforementioned lawsuit.

The Warriors, however, have stated that they do not comment on ongoing legal matters.

 well-known celebrities being sued are Larry David, Naomi Osaka, David Ortis, and Shoshie Ohtani. many crypto enthusiasts believe that this platform won't survive.
