The Golden State Warriors have had a sluggish start to the 2022–23 season, but

they will get an opportunity to turn things around on Friday night when they play the Knicks.

Golden State will play a brief home game against New York at the Chase Center in San Francisco before returning on the road.

Although the Warriors' 6-1 home record is tied for second-best in the NBA behind the Bucks, they have been one of the worst road teams in the NBA this season.

In a clash between two of the NBA's premier teams, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will face off against the Big 3 of the New York Knicks, which consists of Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and RJ Barrett.

Despite Golden State's difficulties, Curry has been himself, averaging 31.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 52.3 percent from the field and 43.3 percent from 3-point range.

In his first year wearing a Knicks uniform, Brunson has excelled, recording career highs of 19.9 points and 6.9 assists per game.

Curry is anticipated to play on Friday night as he is not included on the official injury report.
