How Faster Is A Tesla Roadster Than A Bugatti?

The new Tesla Roadster accelerates far more quickly and has a much higher top range than a Bugatti Chiron, while having a slower peak speed.

While the Chiron is just under a second behind at 5 seconds, the Tesla Roadster can reach 62 MPH in just 4.2 seconds,

setting another another record in the process. Astonishingly, the Tesla Roadster can go from 0 to 60 mph in

under 1.9 seconds, whereas the majority of Bugatti vehicles require 2.3 seconds.

Even the most advanced Performance trim of the current Tesla Model S offers a 2.4-second zero-to-60 mph speed.

While the peak speed of Tesla's first mass-produced car is lower than that of Chirons

the Roadster accelerates far more quickly, reaching 60 mph in 1.9 seconds.

A Bugatti Chiron would have had the advantage over a Tesla Model S plaid at all times because to its greater peak speed

but given the shorter 1/4-mile racing course, we won't know for sure until we watch the actual race.
