How quickly can the new Tesla Roadster travel?
Although the sports car's top speed would rise to 250 mph, Tesla's CEO has already stated that
the second-generation Tesla Roadster would have the same 1.9-second zero-to-60 mph times as the new Model S Plaid.
The Model S Plaid
managed to clock a top speed of 216 mph
back in June 2022
so let's hope the
new Tesla Roadster is on track.
Time will tell whether Reaching Proved is accurate, but Elon Musk was made fun of when
he said the Model S Plaid will top 200 mph.
The Roadster, which will come standard with four-wheel drive
will also be the fastest production car yet, with a sprint time of 1.9 seconds to 60 mph, according to Tesla.
Elon Musk has stated that the SpaceX Option
Package, which
seamlessly incorporates
10 rocket boosters
throughout the car to improve handling, acceleration, and braking, will be available on the next-generation Roadster.
