How Tesla began and Is Musk Founding fathers of Tesla?

Elon Musk made the largest financial contribution to Tesla's early development despite

not being one of the company's founders.

Musk joined the board of directors and agreed to serve as CEO after making a $6.5 million donation.

He supposedly had no interest in the day-to-day operations of the business,

but he reportedly had a great time working on the 2008 Tesla Roadster.

The Roadster, an all-electric sedan with a 244-mile battery range, was Tesla's first vehicle.

It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in as low as 3.7 seconds, making it faster than any other EV at the time.

It was abandoned in 2012, but a 2022 Tesla Roadster is currently being developed

Since the Tesla Roadster retailed for over $100,000, it probably didn't sell many copies.

This was an element of Tesla's budget-saving battery technology strategy.

Even now, Musk remains proud of Tesla's contribution to lowering carbon emissions.
