On 7 January 2021, Tesla released a standard range rear-wheel drive Model Y, along with an additional seven-seat, third-row configuration.
Using a chassis, interior, and powertrain from the smaller Model 3, the 2021 Tesla Model Y added extra cargo space,
And an optional third-row seating, and SUV styling at the most affordable end of the brands offerings.
Buyers generally configure the 2022 Tesla Model Y to fit five passengers, but the third-row seats, which increase carrying capacity to seven, are optional.
You can expect costs to climb up to around PS60,000 for a standard-range version with dual-wheel-drive,
with Teslas highest-spec dual-motor all-wheel-drive model tipping the scales at almost PS70,000.
Tesla is excited to reveal the top-mounted MAXpider 3-D cargo liner for Model Y,
which will also come in 2 extra pieces designed specifically for rear boot cubbies located on either side of the boot.
The styling is less daring or complex than on the other Teslas: You do not find the curving elegance of Model S, nor the bold, gull-wing doors of Model X.
