The Ford F-150 Lightning has already received an increase for 2023.
The price increase is coming in the 2019-2023 model year - only applied in this instance to base, fleet-oriented models of the Lightning Pro.
The popular Ford EV truck will now begin at $52,000 up to $97,000, while 2022 models ranged from $40,000 to $92,000 for top-of-the-line Lightnings.
The base Lightning Pro model jumps from $41,669 to $48,769, including $1,795 in destination charges, and the top Platinum grade,
which has the extended-range battery, increases $6,100 to $98,669, Ford revealed Tuesday.
Ford is raising the price of its basic all-electric F-150 truck model, the F-150 Lightning Pro, by $5,000,
as the automaker struggles amid prolonged supply-chain disruptions and rising input costs.
Ford will keep original prices for people who placed orders for a 2023 F-150 Lightning prior to the announcement of the increase.
The upcoming Ford F-150 Lightning batch will feature several improvements, including an increase in range from 10 miles on a standard-range battery to 240 miles.
