The NFL Power Rankings are ruled by the NFC East's beasts.
With five weeks left in the regular season, the Eagles and Cowboys,
two storied rivals who each fit the bill of a Super Bowl favorite,
hold the top two slots on our big board. Both of these teams have the quality,
depth, and coaching to compete for the division title, even though only one team can do so.
The
Eagles
continue to demonstrate why they are leagues above almost every other football club.
Since Week 8, the
Cowboys
have won five straight games while scoring an average of
39.8 points per contest. Only a fool would rule the Cowboys out of contention for
the division, even though the Eagles continue to lead the NFC East.
