Tesla Truck: Does it Have Autopilot?

The carmaker made a number of  announcements  regarding the electric  truck during the launch ceremony

for the Production Version of the Tesla Semi, but it made no mention of the vehicle's Autopilot or Full Self-Driving technology.

Every model will include Tesla's contentious Autopilot self-driving feature, and the company claims to offer the full-self-driving option for $7,000 as well.

With the help of its semi-autonomous Autopilot system,

Tesla's semi-autonomous Model 3 is anticipated to have some level of partly autonomous driving capabilities,

similar to its other vehicles, including its Model S and Model X sedans.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, announced during the company's earnings call last month

that the firm will be the first to employ an all-electric semitruck to transport Model 3 components

from the Nevada Gigafactory to the California Fremont facility of Tesla.

The long-delayed first production model of Tesla's electric semi truck was delivered on Thursday night.

Five years after CEO Elon Musk presented the company's long-delayed EV semi truck.
