Tua Tagovailoa : Why Miami Dolphins supporters are yelling "MVP"  for Tagovailoa

During the Dolphins' 39-17 victory over the  Browns, which featured three Tagovailoa touchdown passes

and zero Miami punts, "M-V-P, M-V-P" rained down from the fans twice.

Last year's trade deadline was surrounded by headlines about the Dolphins' quarterback predicament,

maybe involving current Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, to strengthen the position.

This season, the Dolphins strengthened their defense during the trade deadline in an effort to surround Tagovailoa

and one of the league's best offenses with enough support to compete for a Super Bowl.

The third-year quarterback's contract can be extended by the Dolphins in the summer, but

that wasn't a given in the preseason when Tagovailoa was a 75-1 long shot to win MVP.

Currently listed by Caesars Sportsbook with the fourth-best odds at 7-1, behind Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts,

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Tagovailoa is one of the MVP favorites.
