Tom Bolden, the head coach of Lakota West, gave his team a succinct-
postgame speech amidst a swarm of reporters and flashing cameras.
Lakota West defeated Elder, 30-10, on Friday night in the Division I regional semifinals on
Pat Mancuso Field at Jake Sweeney Automotive Stadium. "We ain't done yet!" Bolde
yelled before his team joined the red and white faithful in celebrating.
Lakota West (13-0) used a similar strategy to maintain its undefeated campaign and go to the regional finals for the third straight year.
Just 197 total yards, 9 first downs, a 2-of-10 third down conversion rate for Elder,
and two sacks were recorded by the Firebirds' defense.
Five drives were started by Elder from its own 43-yard line or further, but
those drives resulted in four punts (including three three-and-outs) and a forced fumble that senior safety Ben Minich recovered.
