While this new price is far higher than it was when Ford started taking orders for the 2022 F-150 Lightning

 it remains a bargain when compared to trucks sitting at the next rung on the scale of the range.

The extended-range battery pack costs $10,000 on both XLT and Lariat versions of the 2022 F-150 Lightning
