When Can A 2023 Ford F150 Lightning Be Ordered?

The Ford fleet distribution news bulletin, which was published on Friday, May 13, 2022,

contains information about the future 2023 model manufacturing and ordering dates.

Ford U.S. is finally opening up orders for its 2023-model-year F-150 Lightning Electric pickup truck after a halt for eight months because of high demand.

With that in mind, Ford opened orders for its highly-coveted F-150 Lightning back in August, raising prices on all models from $6,000 to $8,500.

Ford is making its move to build an electric truck with the solid (and popular) F-150 Lightning--so much so,

that the Blue Oval had to discontinue taking reservations in order to fill its existing order book in 2022.

The Ford F-150 is looking toward the future with the 2022 model year,  featuring an  all-electric model  called the F-150 Lightning.

The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning will look much like the regular F-150, but it will be faster and produce zero emissions.

Before it was demonstrated, Ford officials suggested the electric or battery-electric F-150 Lightning will be just as capable

as the ICE-powered F-150, which comes in gas,  diesel, and gas-electric hybrid versions.
