What Is The Range Of The New Ford F150 Lightning?

When Ford unveiled the Ford F-150 Lightning, Ford announced two battery pack options, offering ranges of 230 miles and 300 miles.

According to Ford, The Ford F-150 Lightning can go 230 miles on a  standard battery,

or go as far as 320 miles on the optional extended-range battery pack on XLT or Lariat trims.

Ford said on a 150-kW DC fast charger, the Lightning goes from 15% to 80% in 41 minutes with the extended-range battery,

the Lightning goes from 15% to 80% in 44 minutes with the 98-kWh standard-range battery.

Ford says based on the average 30 kWh of home energy use,

the higher-end version can supply all household energy for up to three days - and extends this to 10 days emergency energy.

Ford has also engineered the next-generation F-150 Lightning to act as a back-up generator,

and says that fully charged, the truck could supply up to three days of power to the average home if power goes out.
