Which Electric Truck Has The Highest Towing Capacity?

The best electric trucks come in a range of towing capacities, with the smallest coming in at  3000 pounds (Alpha Wolf)

and the strongest pulling 14,000 pounds (Tesla Cybertruck and Hercules Alpha).

Among the electric trucks currently on the market, that ranking is only exceeded by the  Rivian  R1T electric pickup,

Rivians R1T truck has a more than 11,000-pound towing capability,

while its R1S SUV can pull 7,700 pounds, making  both good options for big-towers as well.

Towing about 9,000 pounds in a new Rivians R1T reduced our driving range on average by 45%,

which is a bit better than Rivians estimates of 50% less reduction if you are towing the 11,000 pounds that the truck is rated to haul.

The Rivian R1T is an attractive electric truck, boasting supercar-like acceleration, legit  off-road chops,

and the ability to tow as much as 11,000 pounds, putting it in line with some of the best full-size trucks available today.

Because pickup trucks carry modest load ratings, the Ford F-150 Lightning does not need to do nearly as much work as a similar truck towing over twice as much.
