Will The 2023 Copo Camaro Get The Lt2 Engine?
Other engine choices for the 2023 model year are a 7.0-liter 427 V8 with a natural aspiration engine
and a supercharged 5.7-liter 350 V8 that produces 470 horsepower and 580 horsepower, respectively.
Regardless of engine, each COPO Camaro comes equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission
(the bigger-block cars feature a slightly higher-ratio transmission) and Strange Engineering nine-inch rear axle.
Do not forget, the current Formula One cars are all running on the 2.4-liter V6,
and they are running on hybrid-electric systems that are turbocharged.
Chevy has paired the two: a crates ZZ632 and Chevrolets famous drag racing production vehicle, the COPO Camaro.
Lighter internals, like titanium rods and 30% lighter cranks, are also combined with an elongated 80mm stroke
(versus the 92mm of the LT2 Stingrays engine) to help the new 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank V-8 rev more quickly.
