Unfortunately, for any customers who did not receive their order of a 2023-model-year Ford Maverick,
Ford is not offering the 2023-2024 model-year switchover that Ford did for buyers of 2022 models.
We have never tested a pickup truck that is as good as the new 2022 Ford Maverick,
and at an entry price of less than $20,000 (not including destination charges), it is easy to understand how Ford might be in a sales jam.
The compact Maverick pickup did not receive a lot of updates in 2023, but Ford did add the new Tremor trim,
which brings in a one-inch lift, all-terrain tires, and a steel skidplate.
A revised suspension gives the new Tremor off-road model a one-inch raise from the standard truck,
and Ford has upgraded the transmissions cooling unit and semi-shafts to allow for greater traction in harsher conditions.
Unlike with the 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid, this current model allows for spruce-up styling via a Tremor Off-Road package and Tremor Appearance Package.
